Global warmists outnumbered 3

The Oregon Institute of Science and Medicine have the signatures of over 31,000 scientists denying man-made global warming.

The number should not matter, only the quality of the scientific research.  But as the warmists have made an issue of how many support their claim, it will be interesting to hear what they have to say now that they are massively out-numbered.

    Oh dear.

Do you know what the criteria to be included in that list are? An undergraduate science degree. That means molecular biologists, dentists, chemists and anyone who has a degree in the incredibly broad area of “science” is considered both a scientist and someone with qualifications relevant to climate change.

Why, as has been repeatedly asked, has nobody published a peer-reviewed article doubting the broad climate change hypothesis?

  • Pete Seeker, a good place to start is here. Of the 31K eggheads, there are some 9000 PHds from feilds like atmospheric science, climatology, Earth science, environment and dozens of other specialties.

The Gorists have tried to shoot down this consortium by stating that the signatures have been collected over ten years and some signetories are dead. All that is true. The arguement has been going on for a long time and is far from over.

An interesting fact is that none of the 31,000 have changed their position since signing while many who supported Gore’s theory have changed sides.

    This is not surprising.

The surprise will come when the liberal media mentions it.

    BTW — Gotta link? Documentation?
