Islam tightens its grip on Europe 9

Here is part of an important speech given by Geert Wilders – the Dutch MP who made the film Fitna – in New York on September 25, 2008, under the auspices of the Hudson Institute.  Read the whole speech here.  Thanks to our reader roger in florida.

The Europe you know is changing. You have probably seen the landmarks. The Eiffel Tower and Trafalgar Square and Rome’s ancient buildings and maybe the canals of Amsterdam. They are still there. And they still look very much the same as they did a hundred years ago.

But in all of these cities, sometimes a few blocks away from your tourist destination, there is another world, a world very few visitors see – and one that does not appear in your tourist guidebook. It is the world of the parallel society created by Muslim mass-migration. All throughout Europe a new reality is rising: entire Muslim neighbourhoods where very few indigenous people reside or are even seen. And if they are, they might regret it. This goes for the police as well. It’s the world of head scarves, where women walk around in figureless tents, with baby strollers and a group of children. Their husbands, or slaveholders if you prefer, walk three steps ahead. With mosques on many street corner. The shops have signs you and I cannot read. You will be hard-pressed to find any economic activity. These are Muslim ghettos controlled by religious fanatics. These are Muslim neighbourhoods, and they are mushrooming in every city across Europe. These are the building-blocks for territorial control of increasingly larger portions of Europe, street by street, neighbourhood by neighbourhood, city by city.

There are now thousands of mosques throughout Europe. With larger congregations than there are in churches. And in every European city there are plans to build super-mosques that will dwarf every church in the region. Clearly, the signal is: we rule.

Many European cities are already one-quarter Muslim: just take Amsterdam, Marseille and Malmo in Sweden. In many cities the majority of the under-18 population is Muslim. Paris is now surrounded by a ring of Muslim neighbourhoods. Mohammed is the most popular name among boys in many cities. In some elementary schools in Amsterdam the farm can no longer be mentioned, because that would also mean mentioning the pig, and that would be an insult to Muslims. Many state schools in Belgium and Denmark only serve halal food to all pupils. In once-tolerant Amsterdam gays are beaten up almost exclusively by Muslims. Non-Muslim women routinely hear “whore, whore”. Satellite dishes are not pointed to local TV stations, but to stations in the country of origin. In France school teachers are advised to avoid authors deemed offensive to Muslims, including Voltaire and Diderot; the same is increasingly true of Darwin. The history of the Holocaust can in many cases no longer be taught because of Muslim sensitivity. In England sharia courts are now officially part of the British legal system. Many neighbourhoods in France are no-go areas for women without head scarves. Last week a man almost died after being beaten up by Muslims in Brussels, because he was drinking during the Ramadan. Jews are fleeing France in record numbers, on the run for the worst wave of anti-Semitism since World War II. French is now commonly spoken on the streets of Tel Aviv and Netanya, Israel. I could go on forever with stories like this. Stories about Islamization.

You give the sort of answers we hoped for, r in f. Thank you.

I hope you are right that there are still those in the West – in sufficient numbers – prepared to fight to defeat Islam.

Thank you Iftikar for your contribution, it is very enlightening!

I certainly agree that the attack on Western society currently being mounted by Islam is the most important issue of this time. This is a repeat performance of course: Who exactly was it who was besieging Vienna? That would be Muslims actually, although in your view that is probably a malicous allegation. The crusades were actually a response by Christian Europe to the invasion of the Holy Land by Muslims, (undoubtedly another malicous allegation).

You ask for respect for Islam; I would like to know just what it is that you are asking to be respected. There is not a single muslim country on this Earth that is not a total shithole. I mean by every measure that a society can be judged on, muslim societies are failures, completely dysfunctional pits of poverty, misery, corruption and decadence. You know this to be true because how else can you explain the mass movement of muslim populations to advanced western countries, where they have at least an opportunity to live improved lives. But if you are successful in your quest to islamise British society you will only achieve the recreation of the shithole you left, but with worse weather.

Interesting but inadvertent I think that you raise practices of the Catholic church to justify the adoption of your oppressive customs. There was a period when the catholic church ruled Europe, that period was called the “Dark Ages”. Where squalor, misery, poverty and hopelessnes afflicted the mass of the population while ruling elites lived lives of opulent decadence; remind you of anywhere? This situation existed because priests had achieved control of society, every misery was accepted because it was the “work of God”.

Catholic nuns wear clothing designed to cover them; why? Because the foul priests who run the church are repulsed by their own humanity (sins of the flesh!) and therefore punish the supposed source of the sin. There has hardly been a more lied to, cheated and exploited group than the so called “Brides of Christ”.

If you find the female form so repulsive I suggest you wear a mask, this is much more efficient, women can then wear whatever they want and if you don’t want to see it then cover your eyes.

So you are a supporter of multiculturalism? I bet you are. How easy for you to import your evil under the umbrella of this idiotic policy. This (multiculturalism) was created by drug addled 60’s activists who infest academia, left wing political parties and bureaucracies. If multiculturalism is so grand when can we expect Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Sudan, etc. to adopt this wonder.

So there is at least some pushback against the islamic tide, as you report a churchmen in Oxford has objected to the muslim call to prayer being broadcast over the City, calling it “un English”, how right he is. A call to the ignorant, the slavish, the unthinking; over a city where one of the oldest and most respected universities in the world is located is an abomination. So what do you think is “English”? Would you say a thousand years of intellectual and sometimes violent struggle to:
    1. limit the power of the church.
    2. limit the power of Monarchs.
    3. Create a system where rational men and women, in complete equality, argue for changes and improvements in the peoples lives and in the institutions that govern.
    4. Profess the free and open expression of ideas and speech.
    5. Create an independent judiciary, independent from religous and political coercion.
    and so on.
None of this is compatible with islam, although the traitors who run British society now will probably accomodate your evil.

Let me explain something to you: There is no god; no allah, no yahweh, no jehovah and no manitou. These are all constructs of power seekers who exploit the natural fears of humans, particularly about death, and create political structures for themselves to achieve and maintain power. In the case of your “holy koran” , this is clearly the rantings and ravings of a mad person. I suspect that mohammed suffered from syphilis. More modern sufferers from this disease are Adolf Hitler and Robert Mugabe. This terrible disease has the effect of producing extreme emotional instability coupled with outbursts of extreme violence.

Let me explain another thing: There are amongst us western people those who value our traditions and appreciate how hard fought for they were. We are prepared to mobilise and fight; politically and violently if necessary to defeat your evil.

Add to the “malicious attacks including allegation [sic] of terrorism are being made on Islam and Muslims all over the world” these stats:

Weekly Jihad Report Dec 06 – Dec 12

    Jihad Attacks: 19

    Dead Bodies: 104

    Critically Injured: 215

  • The debate over the trajectory of the western sociopolitical system and its strained relations with Islam is the most pivotal of our time. Muslims are in one of the most difficult phases of their history when malicious attacks including allegation of terrorism are being made on Islam and Muslims all over the world. The malicious campaign against Muslims is politically motivated. The world is obsessed by Islam. Anti-terror measures are ruining lives of Muslim youths. If you go around arresting young Muslims, you are going to find that you are going to ostracise this community. Young Muslims don’t need to be ostracized, they need to be engaged. According to the Arch Bishop, Rowan Williams, acceptance of some facets of Sharia not only “seems unavoidable

Notable exception, I suppose, is that the Romans didn’t invite the barbarians.

    Concerning Christianity’s influence on culture:

    • I would argue that naught-or-nice lists have a positive effect human behavior.

    • I am befuddled why so many evangelicals cling to the “salt and light” excuse for defending government schools that seem hell-bent on molding young minds to the socialist ideal. Complacency, I suppose.

    Excellent site; book-mark worthy.

5° F in Indiana tomorrow. Wish I’s in Florida!!!!

  • Jillian Becker.

Kenn Gividen, there have been civilizations that have superseded barbarisms, as in colonies. But the only parallel I can think of for a barbarism superseding a civilization is the fall of Rome. Like Gibbon, I believe that a chief cause of the eclipse of classical European civilization for a thousand years was the rise of Christianity, its adoption by Constantine as a state religion. Unlike many of my allies who recognize the destructive danger of Islam, I do not believe that a more robust Christianity would now save Europe. I do not think one irrationality can be defeated by another irrationality. It’s not the weakness of Christianity that has let the barbarians in, it is the weakness, blindness, and doctrinaire stupidity of the badly educated, politically correct socialists who have been governing Western Europe for the last half century and more. And the two world wars. As an Austrian journalist wrote, ‘Europe died at Auschwitz’.

PS. I left Londonistan two years ago. We much appreciate your interest.

Kenn: I think you are right on with that comment about the historical shift going on now. Between the demographic crisis in Europe and Russia, islamisation, the rise of China and India, the overwhelming of anglo culture in the US, massive problems arising out of the poverty, ignorance, and population explosions in Arab states, Pakistan, etc. All that coupled with a worldwide economic crisis, it all just boggles the mind. For all these reasons I reccommend Spengler & co. at:
for a good read and some fascinating perspectives on the historical dynamic that we live in.

  • Kenn G ividen

I can’t think of another historical shift in culture that parallels that which we are witnessing in Europe and, to a lesser degree, the USA (via Rio Grande).

Granted, there were the Anglo-Saxons and, later, Normans in Britain and the Moors immigration to the Iberian Peninsula . But even those pale in comparison.

BTW – just assumed you lived Britain.

  • Jillian Becker.

I greatly appreciate this speech. The Islamization of Europe was one of the reasons why I left Britain and came to live in America.

But the evil is spreading here too. Will Barack Hussein Obama and a Democratic Congress stop the steady Islamization of America? Are they aware that it is happening? If they are, do they want to stop it? If they do, can they?
