The principal enemy 21

The picture and the following text by Roger L Simon come from PJ Media:

Whether they know it or not, Republicans, conservatives, libertarians, center-right folks, all those who favor smaller government and increased freedom, do have a principal enemy. But … it’s no longer Barack Obama. He is over. He was already a lame duck when Obamacare plucked most of his remaining feathers. The damage he can do may still be serious, but most of it will be reparable.

The principal enemy for the right and the center-right is now Hillary Clinton, the vastly favored frontrunner for the 2016 Democratic presidential nomination. She is so far in front, in fact, that her competitors are not even in hailing distance. Hillary is the one who can consolidate and solidify the “gains” of the Obama era in a way Obama himself never could because she is much more politically savvy — Obama was only savvy about getting elected, not governing — and has the backing of her even more politically savvy husband. Hillary is the one who can fully remake the United States into some version of Western Europe or, yet more frighteningly, China, a permanently stratified state capitalism governed by quasi-totalitarian bureaucrats.(We can call this system Soros Marxism, meaning a ruling clique of increasingly rich corporate czars employing a propagandistic veneer of socialist equality to keep the power and wealth for themselves.)

The New York Times (the very model of that propagandistic veneer) already knows their bread is buttered with Hillary, not Obama. They demonstrated that … with their revisionist article on Benghazi, bent on taking that scandal (Hillary’s Achilles’ heel) off the table for the coming elections or at least seriously defusing it.

For the New York Times’s special pleading on this issue, and criticism of its spurious case, see our post, Signs of Democrats’ desperation over the scandalous tragedy of Benghazi, December 29, 2013.

Republicans would do well to redouble their efforts to make sure this particular obfuscation does not succeed by doing the proper research and communicating the results to the public — succinctly and repeatedly.

If the Republicans could do anything so sensible it would be mighty nice!

Benghazi could be used to bring Hillary down permanently. It wouldn’t even be difficult. It would take nothing more than the resolution to accuse her of dereliction of duty, extreme incompetence, and the callous sacrifice of American lives, day after day, at every possible opportunity, through every available medium, loud and clear.

But will they do it? Or will they McCain the issue ? Which is to say, politely overlook it. Or Romney it? Which is to say, touch on it ever so lightly and immediately let it go.

Maybe one of the younger bolder men of the party – Ted Cruz perhaps? –  will seize the hammer of Benghazi and flatten Hillary with it.

    Some congratulations are in order:
First; the pathetic “open borders” libertarians and republican Chamber of commerce types. Cheap, ignorant, unskilled labor is all they want so they can maximize their profits at the expense of the American nation.
Second; all of us who sat by while the federal Govt. of both parties encouraged mass illegal third world immigration. We failed to hold them to their oaths of office so we were conned.
If Hilary Clinton is elected it will be because of massive vote buying of minorities and fraud by the democratic party, but, hey, it worked for Barack Obama so why not for Hilary? The fact that she is a sociopath, a psychopath, an embittered and ambition driven shrew with the empathy and conscience of a feral cat is of no matter.
She will of course pursue (amongst others) the Obama policy of settling black families in hitherto all white areas, in the name of diversity and justice, so sit back and enjoy the crime, drug use, prostitution and violence that these people will bring to your (formerly) safe neighborhood.
You had a post a short while ago where Walter Williams asked if the Union was in danger. I responded that I did not think it was, however, the election of Hilary Clinton will give a huge boost to the movement for a white redoubt in the North West and upper Mid West. An area where white people can resettle and where blacks, hispanics and Jews are not welcome.

You mean a “white trash” area?

If you wish to retain any respect whatsoever for this site, you may want to delete that comment.

Since you have come out blatantly as a racist, Roger, I cannot want your respect any more.

    Obama lied
    People died
    And Hillary cried
    “What difference does it make?”

She & her husband have left a trail of Bodies from Arkansas to NY State. She will attempt to finish us off into another Communist country. She wrote her thesis on Marxism. They both are evil.

The enemy is not Hillary or even the Democrats. The enemy is the bibleBorg who have taken control of the Republican Party. When they run a bible thumping theocrat in 2016 Hillary will coast into the White House.

    • liz

Frank – if the bible Borg has taken over the Republican party, then why are they nominating guys like McCain and Romney, and joining the Democrats in marginalizing candidates like Sarah Palin and other Tea Partiers?

      • Frank

Who were their running mates? Let me refresh your memory – Sarah Palin and Paul Ryan who are two of the leading whack-a-doodles in the country. And what were their public stances on abortion and same sex marriage? What were their stances on government sponsored prayer? On each and every issue they were in lock step with the bibleBorg. Look at some of the other stalwarts in the Republican Party. You have that mental pygmy Rick Perry and the evangelical fanatic Ted Cruz. And let’s not forget Florida’s finest Marco Rubio who recently said the earth might actually be only 6000 years old because we really don’t know how old it is. And it’s only going to get worse. The Republican mindset now is that they lost the last two elections because they were too moderate.

        • liz

I think we lost in 08 because of McCain, not Palin.
And I’d take Palin over Hillary any day.

          • REALBEING

LOL! I’d take Peter Griffin over Hillary if he was running!

          • Frank

            And you would lose.

The sad thing about Perry is that he proclaims to be an Austrian economics devotee (having publicly stating he believes Ludwig von Mises to be the world’s most important economists) yet then imposes collectivism. I guess he thinks government intervention for god’s work is not really interventionism.

A new Gallup poll, it’s been a few days since this posting, today (12-09-2013) reveals that 42% consider themselves independent; 31% democrat and only 25% republican. More have left the Repubs.
No real data, but it is my opinion it is the religion/values/morality of the Palin and Santorum types that are driving folks away. The Dems attempt to legislate reality and the repubs try to legislate morality. Both are losing and harmful ideologies.

Dealing with H. Clinton is only one fight that Conservatives face in 2016. I don’t consider it to be the biggest problem, only a problem.

Yes, I would really enjoy seeing a Cruz or a Walker type get into the oval office, but if this fails maybe we can at the least retain what power we have in the House, and possibly claim a majority in the Senate in 2014, because of the genuine stench that will be generated by Obamacare once it’s major mandates come into play in ‘014 and ‘015.

And should she win, these important gains for us might render Mrs. Clinton somewhat benign, especially if the half-a-dozen other scandals continuing to unravel Mr. Obama’s and the Democrat’s grip on the voters happen to stick in their minds, as this would tend to shrink the esteem folks generally have for the Democrats.

Remember that Obama was always the Democrat’s guy, and no matter what comes out of Hillary’s mouth in the campaign, many of his sins will stick to her, due to her co-op efforts with the President. I sincerely believe that most of the independent voters see her as a part of his disaster.

And the distaste the voters have for Congress speaks for itself. Hopefully more-so with the Liberals in Congress than with the Conservatives.

All of our gains will depend on the Conservatives turning out in “spades” for the Republican and also on how Obama’s debacles are received by the folks who were disappointed by his lack of follow-through on his projects for those he promised them to, but didn’t deliver.

As I stated before somewhere on this site, it will most likely need to get much worse in our country before people start to wake up and start to vote a better government in place……IF the government in place at that time still allows people to vote!

A strong 2014 all-around Conservative voter turnout would be a (pardon the pun) “God-send.”

  • liz

I would dearly love to see what a “real man” (or woman) would do to Hillary with that hammer! If one would materialize, the aligning together of religious conservatives, libertarians, and independents might actually fall right into place behind them, in a landslide.

  • Azgael

The ONLY hope for America now is for the 80-100 million Patriotic gun owners and military to start a open revolt and revolution, too many are on the Government tit for any republican to win election, weather be it in 2014 or 2016.

    • Jillian Becker

Azgael – do you mean civil war?

      • Azgael

Civil war or Revolution, these Progressives wont hesitate to kill anyone who don’t bow down to their tyranny like Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, Castro, Hitler, once the balance is greatly in their favor, the exterminations will begin, The USA is currently Probably 50-55% Socialist, I think when it reaches 75-80% the Concentration camp will open, Disguised as FEMA camps.

        • Jillian Becker

It’s not impossible. If Hillary becomes Fuehrer.

        • liz

Or maybe they’ll just skip the concentration camps and pick us all off with drones. The ones who haven’t already received a proper attitude adjustment from the IRS, that is.
