Economics Professor Tim  Groseclose explains the Laffer Curve:

But 33% tax! No. A flat rate of about 10% – and government doing much less – is our wish.

    I’m all for that if the tax rate is applied across the board for all things, such as a traffic speeding ticket. In that case, a speeding ticket might cost me $80, but to a millionaire it might cost $18,000.
