    Interesting but practical? The Japanese have created cloaking materials that also require impractical additional equipment: projector and, like in this video, multiple lenses.

    In America, there has been great work done in what are called MetaMaterials ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metamaterial_cloaking – the http:// has been left off the address so that it will not magically show up in this comment).

    Examples from net: (bottom left may actually be merely camouflage.) ?
