Ben Shapiro argues that it is not.

We agree with him.

But we would simply argue that one cannot have a right to something if the provision of it forces obligations on others.

    Your statement of the argument is much more succinct – and less headache inducing! He’d make a great auctioneer.

    This. This trumps (hah) every other argument. Nobody has a right to compel me to surrender a portion of my wealth for their enrichment.
