We have been posted on Rants n’ Raves, a forum of some sort.

They posted about our old review of Anne Coulter’s book Godless. The review, according to them, is “full of shit and bile”.

To those at Rants n’ Raves, I would like to say thank you for feeding the flow of our Google juice.

And, if you want to argue a point, don’t insult your opponent. Present your argument against us in a reasonable way and we will be happy to debate with you.

Abuse is not an argument.

If you would like to read their comments about us, the post can be found at http://rantsnraves.org/showthread.php?t=961

Unshackled! 555

While surfing the internet, I found this little gem: "Unshackled!", a podcast which consists of ominous organ music, stiff Christain morals, and bad acting.

According to this podcast, doing housework makes you a ‘fag,’ Atheists sing derogatory songs about Jesus and philosophize all day, and all gay people aren’t actually gay and can be saved by Jesus.

Their website also says that they are broadcast around the world 6,500 times each week on over 1,550 different radio stations. So that the word of Jesus can be heard by all, it is translated into many different languages, including Arabic, so that even Zawahiri can enjoy the word of Jesus while he blows up innocent people.

So if you have some time to waste, take a listen.

Adopt-a-terrorist 717

Ever wondered what the Christian idea to solve the problem of terrorism is? Adopt-a-terrorist for prayer! Simply choose a terrorist, and pray for his conversion to Christianity.

According to this website, this will help

  1. Bring spiritual resources to bear in a struggle that’s been mostly material up to this point.
  2. Keep Americans and soldiers from dehumanizing Muslims in general.
  3. Demonstrate the difference between the Christian radicals and God and the equivalents in Islam.
  4. Challenge the terrorists to a spiritual power encounter revealing whose God is stronger.
  5. Defeat terrorism as "Damascus Road" experiences result when God starts answering these prayers.

So now we can all look forward to Muslim terrorism being brought to an end.

Obama’s Racism 343

Here’s a short piece (second item down) on Obama’s self-exonerating speech about Jeremiah Wright’s hate-preaching and how he – Obama – cannot repudiate the preacher. It’s precisely to the point.

Obama says it Wright 365

The day before Obama made his self-exonerating speech, so smoothly, equating his sometimes racially prejudiced granny with the hideous race hatred expressed by Pastor Jeremiah Wright to the hurray-chorus of ‘the black community’, he was reported by Fox News as saying that the next morning he would make a ‘more fulsome’ speech about Jeremiah Wright and so on.

‘Fulsome’ means gushing, cloying, overdone.  And if he meant it, he was true to his promise.  He sure made a gushing, cloying, overdone speech.

Only he didn’t mean that, did he?  He meant a ‘fuller’ speech.

President Bush has been subjected to much mockery by the Left for his mistakes with words.

Come let us be fair now and mock Obama for the same thing.

Giving away U.S. Sovereignty 264

This ‘Obama bill’ would empower the UN to tax Americans directly so that more money will flow from US citizens into the private bank accounts of Third World dictators.

Islam conquers The Pentagon 5

Bad news! Islam is still leading gullible fools in the Pentagon along the path of self-destruction, while the loyal and excellent researcher who brings proofs of Islam’s threat to America is to be sent away in disgrace – at Islam’s behest.

On Tolerance 22

These definitions are in Webster’s New Collegiate Dictionary 1980:

tolerance n…. 3a: sympathy or indulgence for beliefs or practices differing from or conflicting with one’s own.  b: the act of allowing something.

tolerant adj1: marked by forbearance or endurance.

tolerate vt [L toleratus, pp of tolerare to endure, put up with …] … 2: to suffer to be or to be done without prohibition, hindrance, or contradiction.

To tolerate something is to put up with it. Tolerance is the suffering of something ; the permitting of it to exist. If you tolerate something it does not mean that you like it, admire it, or want it to exist; only that you will let it be. You might possibly have ‘sympathy for’ it, but it is not what you yourself believe or hold highest in your esteem.

Tolerance is a virtue practiced by the upholders of freedom. A belief in freedom entails it. Just as you yourself must be free to think, say, and do whatever you please (within the legal restraints you choose to obey), so your fellow man is free in precisely the same way. You may positively hate his beliefs, his actions, his taste, his manner, his appearance, his opinions, but as long as none of these impede your own freedom, you must necessarily, in the logic of your principles, tolerate them.

The one thing that the tolerant cannot logically tolerate is intolerance.

To tolerate intolerance is to condone it. To condone it is to deny tolerance. Only by not tolerating it can you remain tolerant. It is a simple case of two negatives making a positive – do not tolerate intolerance, and you are tolerant; tolerate it, and you have lost your virtue.

We atheists suffer others to believe what they will. We do not want to stop them believing what they do, or change their minds, or punish them in any way for believing something that we do not. We do not want them to be interfered with in any way unless they fail to reciprocate our live-and-let-live forbearance and themselves interfere with us or others who differ from them.

Any belief, political or religious, that disallows or punishes dissent is the enemy of tolerance and should not be tolerated.

A policy that does not permit sane adults to do what they will provided they harm no one else should be abandoned.

A religion that punishes apostasy should not be tolerated in a free society.

An ideology that is against freedom is intolerable.
